Do I have anyone I can visit in Portland? A forgotten acquaintance? A scientific meeting? A band's reunion?
Do I have any reason, any at all, to travel to the PDX?
Because I know exactly where I'd want to stay.

I say we all just plan a trip for the spring. Not that we need any other excuse other than the hotel - but my friend is moving back to Portland to open a restaurant / bar that will be up and running by then.
